Why small businesses need a website – part 1.
Many times I get the question, “does my business REALLY need a website?” The answer to this question usually is “yes” 99.9% of the time. We live in a world that looks to social media and web presence for validity. So you really can’t afford to not be online. Here are top four reasons why small businesses need a website today!
1) First thing most people will do is search for you online
What if someone is searching for a business in your industry and is not able to find you because you are not there? 81% of people research online before visiting a store or making any major purchase online. Don’t miss out on all of the potential customers available at your fingertips by not having a website.
2) Branding – branding – branding!
A website is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your potential new clients who you are and what you do. On top of that, it can help you build credibility and an online presence – which is essential these days.
3) Helps build a relationship with current and new customers
Websites help your customers feel more connected with your company. By providing your contact information, social links and a contact form you are that much closer to interacting with them.
4) Your competition already has one
Imagine one of your customers is searching for you yet finds your direct competitor’s website and calls them up instead of you? The cost of not having a website is much higher than the cost of having one.
